QIP Shot

Screen capture functionality is put at your fingertips by the QIP Shot application. You can use the application to take a screenshot and to video record whatever is displayed on your screen. QIP Shot can capture a rectangular area, a rounded area, a random area, a specific window, or the entire desktop. QIP Shot can video record a rectangular area or the entire desktop.

The setup wizard that guides you through the installation process offers to perform a few additional tasks: create a shortcut on the desktop, add a Turbo button to the taskbar, add QIP Shot to the Windows context menu.

A presentation of the interface is displayed by default when you launch QIP Shot for the first time. Unfortunately, this presentation is in Russian, not English. But the thing is that the interface is easy enough to figure out. Even without this presentation, you won’t have any problems using the interface to access QIP Shot’s functionality.

As mentioned above, QIP Shot can take a screenshot of the entire desktop, a specific window, a rectangular area, a rounded area, or a random area. After it takes the screenshot, it automatically copies it to the clipboard and automatically loads it on its interface so you can edit it: draw lines, draw arrows, enter custom text, rotate, crop, and more. When you’re done, you can save the screenshot, upload it to the web, send it out via email, copy it to the clipboard, share it on Facebook.

Also as mentioned above, QIP Shot can make a video recording of a rectangular area or of the entire desktop. The recording can be played within QIP Shot, saved to the location of your choice, uploaded to the web, sent out via email, and shared on Facebook.
